hi guys

wonderin if anyone had any suggestions of where i might be able to get hold of a reducer for my century tip tornando match rod.

i bought it from NETS in Hartlepool a couple of weeks ago but forgot to ask where i could get one from.

any suggestions would be great

cheers

sorry about the late reply (due to a family visit), but i have had a look on centurys website and they say it has a "Butt Diameter - rod: 0.95” (2.39cm)". if thats any help.

cheers

yes i think that is the outside dia of butt i will give andy rutherford a ring tommorow think he will no bore dia.

been busy or would of got back to you earlier.

i actualy thought my self you got a reducer reel fitting and bag when buying a century rod new.

phoned andy rutherford up this morn he did,nt have any tornados in to measure.

need the dia for mk1 and mk2 to help two lads, it needs to be the butt bore dia .

not sure if mk1 and mk2 are diff sizes.

just got a reply off century and they say that it was supposed to come with one and i should speak to one of the lads from the shop i bought it from.

gonna go there sometime durin the week to try and sort it out

Got my century from nets but no reducer. Never really gave it a thought as I fish reel up. I suppose it would be to late to go back as it's nearly 2 years ago now.

Mk1 (origional) tip tornados are thinner. I use a 2010 model reducer in my origional formula tiptornado but I needed to sand it with wet and dry paper to get it to fit ;)
