My kompressor is only 2 years old and used once a week, always use a rod rest and all that's left of the letters is bits of essor so it's good to hear the factory will replace them. Hopefully they may be a bit more weather resistant now as rain must of washed the originals off. Either that or it's been with the bending of the rod pulling the lunkers in I wish.
Think the century decals are not actual stickon badges but are painted on some way at the factory.Thats what they told me when I asked ,The old formula rods used to have stick on badges.Best to cover them with high build or clear varnish when you get a rod to preserve them.
I enquired about it myself. Was told it costs a tenner but the rod must be stripped down prior to reapplication as the rod will be baked in their ovens
