century saturn

hi guys , had a couple of chucks with tinmans century saturn . must admit its a canny stiff rod . just wantintg to know a little bit more about the rod as cant find much info of googling it . i appreciate it will prob be a rough ground rod . and with regards to certains anglers preference for stiff rods im joust wondering why the rod is not popular. thanks in advance . (only askin this as might consider looking for one in the future for a rebuild custom jobbie )

They were a short run from Century with not many made. I have one and it is still going strong after fifteen years plus. I don't know why more were not made but the Kompressor seemed to take over around that time.
