I loved the eliminator poker rod but don't need to be a torny caster to use it, just found it a bit clumsy on rock marks as you got the fish to the tip of the water, northeast has a demo rod in the rack now but the the ones for sale come in Friday, look good with the red whippings and pattern covering the blank, plus there built with titanium kwags

What's the ringing sizes?. 7 rings and a 40mm high k guide would be best for fixed spool and braid for fishing . Suspect it will be 8 rings and 30mm butt ring!! Probs wont make a massive difference but one crackoff is one too many.

It is the price of it, I think you can get them rung for multi or fixed I don't like the 40mm butt ring.

Century T-1000

Century T-1000

Had a call into N.E.T. s at Sunderland, looked at this rod, and its a stunner, feels perfectly balanced, cant wait for the reviews this season, but I recon its going to be one of the top North East all round Rods, and a Century best seller, cant wait to get one. Priced around £540.

people buy these rods cause there tackle tarts, the average fisherman wouldnt be able to compress it unless your built like danny moeskops.

carnt see point in such a powerful rod i use a century mk2 crest and that fishes any where i want it to

i wont be spending 540 on a rod i wouldnt be able to use then take a big loss selling it on.

I am your average angler and I have just picked the t1000 up and I can compress the rod, it's a lovely rod very powerfull through action not a pole by any means

Just got back from fishing, and my very honest opinion is... It's a fantastic rod could go as far to say the best mixed/rough ground rod I have used, very progressive loading and recovers lightening quick, it's easy to cast with a flick or pendulum casting the more you put into the rod the more you get back from it, personally found it better with braid and braid leader, used 7oz lead and big baits by big I mean a full softy 1 frozen and 2 fresh crab and it coped no problems at all,
