was thinking about buying this rod just need a bit info about it good or bad, all information app will be fishing piers and roughish ground

for fishing rough ground and hoiking codling up pier walls i think a kompressor ss or wr300 would be more suited - iirc the ld is rather soft

I use the ld as a stepped up bass rod and throw a 4.5oz sinker with bait 12lb to 15lb works fine.

The tip tornado sport is more of a mixed ground rod.

Bought one of these a few months ago. Crackin rod with excellent bite detection. Agree with the above though, use it for clean or mixed ground only.
