ok i finally went for a tip tornado sport

what do you lads that own one use yours for clean, rough river, pier ???????,

Just bought the Kompressor WR 300 today........ what a rod, super caster and feels great. Gonna get another for a matching pair.
The Century range are the kiddies.

they must be a popular rod just bought a kompressor 13ft sport to go with my conoflex nemesis plus+ which i got from bribones (bri its spot on m8) it has not arrived yet but i am looking forward to it comming hopefully for the weekend. thats me out of money now so no new gear for a while lol

The Kompressor sport is a good all rounder Mark I had one and was getting 170/190s regular with it , Im doing even better wth the Kompressor WR 300. It just a tad stiffer than the sport model

I did own one but found it a bit soft on the tip i used it on rough ground though no problem.

john 170-190, i dont know if i will be getting that far but you know what they say. don\'t eat steak pies at the computer :exclam: :exclam: , bugger . what i mean is pratice makes perfect or in casting a little better

used a shakespear k2 extreme for beeches till it blew up 1 three piece rod is now 4 pieces , smashed just above top spigot .

I was in the market for a K2 but changed my mind and went for the Century CM SRE instead.
Glad I did now.
How do you get on with the longer rods (apart from blowing them up I mean)?

No gazza mate thats with out baits wish it was though Lol. The Kompressors certainly go well with the 6500cts Hitting over 200 yards with thre Wr300 using the pendulum. But certainly wont hit that baited up. Be lucky with 120 yards baited
