The TTLD will cast 175g plus bait with ease if your technique is up to it. Nice and smooth and slow and the lead flies away. It's not an everyday big lead and bait rod but it will handle them as long as you don't snatch at the cast

Hi Terry
Its a shame its not the CCCld I would have done a straight swap.
I have 4 TTLD's and want something stiffer for the rocks but like the Low diameter stuff.

Good luck with your sale

I do have a CCC LD good condition - but no reducer or bag. It's the non metal band version with the flag of St George on. I think it's not worth as much as your rod, £150, so I would pay the cash difference. If you are interested I could do some pictures.

I find that "C" curve rods just don't suit me hence the Crest going up for sale as well.

CM Crest has a slim butt at 25mm, it's only a mm or so bigger than the C3LD. Crest is also far better suited to the rough stuff than the C3LD, a much more powerful rod (I did my pb cast of 245 yards on one) with a much stiffer butt and mid-section than the C3LD
