cenutry rod grapics fades a lot what do use 2 stop it varnish etc have got some nail varnish top coat wondering if that wd do the job not mine by the way ;)
 
high build would be best i'd imagine but i suppose what sort finish you want. nail varnish would probably be fine but might crack easily.

iv just put a bit on a old rod it smudges the grapics if u are 2 slow must b strong stuff high build seems the way 2 go cheers
 
i would wait to hear from the rod builders on here mate before putting anything on like nail products as you might do more harm than good.I have heard the guys giving there rods to rod builders to have there decals covered in highbuild.
 
no probs mate. what about a spray laquer for a less bulky finish ? but then again you could just put 1 coat of high build on.

pic and thx 4 the advise all its only what i had in the shed looks spot on will let it dry and c if it needs a nother coat

a had a wr300 and the graphics faded completely phoned century never asked for any proof of purchase or gave any hassle replaced graphics foc and done it within 48hrs,first class service
 
Are you lot having a laugh, they are only decals man, most of us fish in the dark so they are never seen :D tackle tarts. get real or get a big china cabinet to put your rods and soopa doopa mags in. :D

Hello 2rods, it was just a couple of weeks ago when I was quoted by e-mail, do you mind me asking who you talked to at century and when. Also they said they would need to remove and retie the butt ring to do it, someone on here told me that wasn't necessary like.
 
i had 2 done as i told gordon f.o.c could,nt beliveve they wanted that ,it,s not so much tackle tarts it when selling your gear you no what rod it is as if you do,nt no your rods it could be any1 unless you no some 1 who can duplicate decals and stick them on any rod i wonder how many fake zippies etc are out and they think they have the real deal thats why the manufacturers do,nt give decals out willy nilly .gordon if they will do your rod with the guide off for free i,ll take the guide off for you and put it on for nothing as long as you drop it off you will have to ring them up again but tell them thier is no ring on and they might do it for nowt do,nt tell them you are the same person
