Hi everyone, this is me first post, think the site is great!
suppose to be going out of amble 2moro on a 16foot orkney, what are our chances with the weather and sea state?

Hi and welcome. You should get out ok tomorrow but southerlies are forecast so the drift may be fast untiil the tide starts to flood again. Good luck!

hi hulme,

welcome to NESA
not so sure about tomorrow, maybe ok in the space between amble and coquet island but I think further out may still be a bit of a no no.
Had a look out at blyth tonight and it`s still very bumpy with no signs of a west to flatten it off so i fear I`ll not make it out .

but good luck and if you do make it ... post the report :)

Got called off last night, its the skippers first boat and only been out half a dozen times, so he's being a bit cautious. Hopefully get out next weekend with a bit of luck.
