So how often should you re-fill a reel, as in take old stuff off and fill with new?

I think after a had a snag, next cast was a snap off, line looked "rippled" most of the way when I was pulling it off?

with a birds nest is it best to just cut it all off and re fill etc?

was no fun like, especially in the dark :red:
