I know its short notice but the boat me and 3 friends were going out on has canceled the trip.Any body going out tomorrow (Tuesday 26th) within driving distance of sunderland ?
Don't mind an early start....

may be cancelled due to easterly wind,have a look in the charter boat section and make a few calls good luck,and if you get out put the report in

Canceled because of winds, skipper unsure of conditions tomorrow, I got no problems with a skipper thinking of the safety of his passengers,in fact i welcome it, but and there always a but, I and the other 3 were really looking forward to it.
Its my first boat trip in over 15 years.

really hard lines mate:exclam:i dont know what you are like for "fishing time available to you" but there are plenty of boats who will happily take you out,quite often its possible to get places for just one or two or three especially mid week,i wish you well in your efforts to get afloat:exclam:

Heading to London on Wednesday, having my 1st fly fishing session, then on to Bournemouth for some sea fishing (supposed to be a romantic get away with our lass), boat fishing was supposed to be the start of me jollies.
Only got weekends free until the summer shutdown from now on.
Guess we'll try and book something inbetween.

Yer i have called Tue off as well, it was building very bad on the way back in and winds stronger Tue, infact i would say next few days a no go unless the wind direction changes

I was at Hartlepool today and it did not look comfortable to be fishing in. Not big waves but just uncomfortable-loks like its going to pick up, we were supposed to be out at Craster wed but i,m not holding my breath.

Looks like this is off then, cheers for the info guys, might try a bit of spinning down Marsden if its not too windy, else I'm painting the bathroom.

Yer i would stay away from Shileds pier for a while, they are dredging the Tyne and the water from the river upto 2 mile out is think with silt and sand...not good for spinning.

Conditions rubbish out there today we were at sea yesterday lovelly in the morning but it was forcast for to pick up as the day went on not very nice at 4pm yesterday the skippers cancel for very good reasons.
