cheap headlamps

iv just bought a cree 1200 off amazon it took 2 days to come paid £33 and got free P+P
me mate bought a samalite 600 led and paid over £350 for it and its still no where near as bright as mine and the his battery 5 times bigger than the one iv got with mine and it last's longer than his im amazed

jesus £350 notes ..... i got one for a quid from poundland with 6 or 8 of their 'posh' batteries for a quid.... three sessions later the first set of 3 batteries were still alive and the light was blinding everyone I was chatting to on the pier... there must be about 20 led's on the thing, my mates cree was a damp squib in comparison.

the only thing going against it is the strap that is a bit prone to coming off the light body but other than that its the best 'light to £' available and if you rig it up with your own strap you are onto something.. the thing is genuinely bright as feck!

got cree and LED Lensers, but for me rock fishing i always revert back to my Tiga, old age gives ya bad eyesight, so need a really powerful light lol

LMAO! You beat me to it! I bought one for a quid just before Christmas and now five of my mates have gone out and bought them too! Just put a loop of shockleader through the ends of the strap where they fall off and your laughing! Great headlights and only £1 each!

the hong kong lights ..where they prone to come off the straps ...get a lighter heat between plastic and the gap and seal as close as ya can when melted mine hasnt come off yet

I still use a miners lamp (Kirby Kidney pack actually) and some of the exposed rock marks i visit i wouldnt trust my life with a simple light, the ones i use are used by Pot holeing guys and miners so quality

Easy to get hold of them but at a price

Oldham DL16 Lamp --- Excellent Stuff best money ever spent

Plenty of good lamps here as well
