Fished 5-8.30 this morning and gave the crabs their fresh lug and mussel breakfast. Also dredged the Tyne clear of weed for everyone else who wants to fish there today.

A new PB on the largest weed and tackle ball I've successfully landed and thanks to the 2 lads fishing just up from me who helped handball this in.

One of the other two lads had a sized whiting in the 2.5 hours they were there, but that was it I'm afraid. Still better than going stir crazy in the house.

It fought like a good un. Hell of a knock - bent the rod tip well over. Sadly there were no fishies hiding inside, just a load of weights and hooks.

If you was fishing next to the wall, there was two blokes fishing there when i was and they lost quiet a bit gear lol. I didnt loose anything for the first time in a bout 2 yr PMSL.

Yes, was next to the wall, but gained more gear than I lost. Quids in for a change!
