Clashwhannon camping area

Just to let you know that most of it got washed away in yesterdays storms that hammered the Drummore area. The footbridge to the camping area/beach was also washed away.

Just in case anyone was planning to camp there. Some of the roads in the area were also badly damaged.

Just got back from new England bay. The main coast road from new England bay to the clashwannon arms is closed. The road got washed away yesterday. We had to go on the top road to Logan bay then through to new England bay. We had to have a coast guard escort all the way through.
Never known conditions as bad as yesterday.
