Just fished south sheilds beach right of pier,got 4 flounder biggest about 2lb and 3 whiting 1 coalie couldn't sit down action all night from about 6 till 9 great night,caught more off beach than I do off pier,gonna fish the beaches more this winter more fun,had abit spin for bass with a shad just missed one the shad come back in with no tail left,happy days! Roll on sunday

well done mate i fished the end of the pier had 2 flattys and 5 codling nowt over one n half pound for me but still good to get out !

just been up the end of the pier my self had whiteys and flattys every cast untill about 11 then i had 3 codling 1 of them size at about 1.5lb. had a canny night fish every chuk untill i went and had 2 casts over next to me dad had nowt there and he blanked lol

i seen you when i was walking off the pier in the corner with a small lad well done better than what i got on the end fish the beach at the other end or in the middle when the sea is away it,s not deep but on occasions can throw up some canny fish during darkness.

I fished the middle of the beach on tuesday night,caught 2 bass about a 2lb each,returned them but enjoyed it,so returned lastnight for another crack at it,no bass but was fun anyway,I'm out sunday I think with the club so bring it on ha ha happydays

Aye lads I've only ever fished the beaches only a handfull of times but when the big cod closer in soon,I'll def be trying this winter from beach,any other good beaches around!!!!
