managed to squeeze a quick hour and a half session in between thunder showers. fished 8pm til 9-30pm using fresh crab. first cast got a good bite and struck into a good fish it surfaced about 5 yards out, a cracking eel unfortunately the hook pulled out, estimate about 2lb+. next fish was about 30 minutes later a flounder about 1lb

followed next cast by a coalie

soon after the storm clouds started to gather again

i then got the best fish of the night

i could here the thunder rumbling in the background so decided to call it a day. i'll try somewhere tomorrow further down the river

i had a few hours on the ratty (now i normally hate the place) but it was fish after fish, was a pest gettig past the coalies (majority undersize) but once tipped off with a small bit of fish strip, the flats were there in numbers.
