hi if you are using a cocktail how do you know what the fish are actualy after, does it matter??
you could actualy have two diff baits on and one bait could be sufficient to put a fish off

what do you think are cocktails wise

I normally start with 1 bait on it's own and start adding different 1's if it's not fishing. You can also try 2 hook rig with different baits on to see which is fishing best......but don't listen to me as i seem to have forgotten how to catch a fish.

I just vary my cocktails depending on what i have with me,Lug and Mussel or Lug and Razor,i think if the fish are feeding and the conditions are right they'll take most baits (natural)

as the man above says ,conditions plus if the fish are pushed in too shore they will take most baits ,but when it flattens off worm baits seems to be the bizz

I think of cocktails as putting a big bait into the water (usually on a pennel rig) to give off as big a scent trail as possible to draw fish to your hook.

Probably a load of old bollocks, but gives me confidence.
