Well you couldnt ask for a better day with no wind flat calm and cracking fishing the lads had a belter squid fished its nuts off today on the wrecks with the water being near on clear now tommorow looks even better 1 lad richard sutcliff had 2 cod touching 10lb the best on the boat but all the lads had a cracking good day

Richard with his two best both fish close on 10lb.

Richards box he couldnt go wrong.

Mal from middlesbrough he ended up with a dozen codlings for the day.

My crewman richard filleting a few fish for the lads .

We worked the 9 mile most of the day but we tryed a few wrecks on the way in and caught fish as close as 3 mile mind the tides are bang on the inshore wrecks and get even better over the next 2 days shads might fish better tommorow they werent on form today but with more clarity tommorow it could be a different ball game.

Excellent report and pics, some nice fish there. Looks like it's allready started.
The sea looks a lot calmer than off Whitley this morning, no wind to spoil the drift. Good luck for tomorrow lads.

The lads had between them 120-140 cod today still some very good fishing again mainly on the squid but not as many as yesterday but not far off.

Again the lads had very nice day today it fished well again shads did a lot better today but squid still fished best a change in weather tommorow but it still looks ok to sail and with small tides should make it a little easer.
