I wont be doing much fishing over the next couple months, perhaps get out on the boat if theres a nice day.

Clean out the shed next week and put some gear up for sale on here :exclam:

I like the summer fishing just as much as the winter. Light tackle, sunny days, well hopefully lol. I'm looking forward to the plaice, float fishing for wrasse, spinning for pollock and coalies and of course chucking lumps of crab in the kelp for the reddies. I've got some new shots to try this summer which I'm looking forward too.

100% agree. Love my summer fishing, so much variety, different species, different tactics rather than just hoying out big baits on a paternoster rig.

In fact whisper it softly as I know it is probably regarded as heresy around these parts but on balance I probably prefer my summer fishing to the winter cod season :o

Summer fishing all the way for me, crab ready every week fishing in a t shirt fishing for kelpies, on the same marks your fishing in hurricanes in the winter in minus conditions, then sick of cod travel 2 hours and fish for hounds and rays.
