Fished codgers corner with me gud mates waco and goose09 yesterday from 4.40pm til 9.30pm area.

Fish was slow to begin with but we were eventually into fish, nothing size, but we had 4 fish each between us. Flounder, codlings, coalies and whiting.

Not to bad 4 a few hours, and it least we didnt blank.

Wil be out this sunday to fish me club match, wil hopefully do better then!

aye andy theres many a worse way to spend 4hrs,and 4 fish apiece aint bad where is codgers corner:question: sounds like "plaice" i might go if i decide to take up shore/pier/river fishing

Codger's corner is between the angel (statue) and the dis-used call centre on the river tyne. Its not to far down river of the customs house.

And no lowrider, anybody can go there, though waco is a rite codger so he fits rite in!!
