Hellooooooo.....
Fished codgers this afternoon from 4.30pm till 9.30pm with me good pal waco. May have been 3 of us if goose09 was fishing but he has unfortunately chiped a bone in his elbow and cannot fish for a while
, hopefully he'll get better soon.
Anyways, we fished an ebbing tide and the fishing was slow to begin with. We had too fish away from codgers for an hour or so as there was a lot of other anglers, never seen the place that busy
.
Once we got onto the corner though from the forst cast the rods were away, plenty small and some decent bites to keep us happy.
Between me and waco we had 3 species each. Waco had 2 coalies, 1 eel and 1 whiting. I myself had 3 coalies, 1 flounder and a 1 small codling. Nothing of size bar waco's whiting (i think) and my flounder.
Packed up as the wind completely dropped and river was like a millpond, glistening with all the reflections of lamposts, etc.:red:
A cracking end to a canny little session.
