We had 17 out for tonights "cash match", and with an added bonus of £85 the total amount was £170 to the man with the biggest fish.
Stevie Elliot set his stall out at the "3 shelves" and was about ready to pack up at 5 past 10 when he hooked into this cod for 4lb 4oz, which was
good enough to win the cash.
Paul Rogers had one about 3 and a half from the "mud hole" and young Stevie Brown had one for about 2lb from the "Ice house". I went to the "gun pits" for the last hour, and on my first chuck I hooked into what I thought was a decent cod, but all I retrieved was this half digested blemmy.
But a couple of chucks later I got one about 2 and a half.
