Cold hands?

yup!, well not them, many years ago, despatch riding in london. there used to be a funny old guy would wander around the bike shows selling electric socks as well as gloves, no don\'t laugh, but its true, electric socks, plug em into the cigarette lighter on your bike (just next to the ash tray) and they warms yer tootsies

muggins herre was drunk enough at the time to buy both! and they did sort of work, maybe maplin have added some sneaky oriental technology to the concept

don\'t know how I\'d get a motorbike down onto the rocks to plug em in though

Mark, I was talking to a lad three weeks ago that had a pair of battery heated socks on and he said they were great. I looked on Ebay and sure enough there they were lol. Quite a range in prices same as the gloves.

Jim.

the battyer powered socks did work, insane but true. the bloke that used to sell em at the bike shows was compleley barking, he\'d walk around with full electrically heated everything, socks, vest pants hat goves and invite people to put their hands down his trousers to feel how warm his pants were. Somewhat suprisingly limited appeal to most hairy bikers, especially in july, whe its already 80 degrees outside, but he\'d wander around carrying a car battery on a shopping trolley.

Hi did look a bit like Ell, now I come to think of it

Just read about a bodywarmer that\'s in the shops now, made by maplin
that has built in central heating-which they say warms up to 40degrees C (104f) inside five mins it retails for £39.99 and the gloves are £19.99 they work with wire inside new fabric technology, could be handy for some....cheers

Jim,
I remember YOU coming up with something similar.......

Only needed 2 AA size batteries and a pocket with coins in :o :o
