Coley city, shields beach

Fished the pier today until 3.30, but blanked. So went down on the beach, fished 4 till 8, and had about 20-30 sized coleys, they were hitting the bait as soon as it was in the water. Non stop action, had 3 good size flounder as well. Didn't get what I was after, but enjoyed it and had more fish in four hours than I've had in the last 4 months!

Yeah definatley a big shoal there (or possibly just the same daft fish every time!), the three flounder were on my last three casts, so I think the coleys must have moved at that point.

I have to agree mick, I had a good summer, but had a terrible time since the end of july. I think I'm more of a shorts and t-shirt type of fisherman! roll on next summer.

Aye, was using the shadow - love it. Very nice fishing rod, I cant cast it as far as my stiffer rods, but its certainly a lot easier on my back!
