Colliery lads done good.....

Headed off this morning onto a perfect sea , mission today was to put a few hours on the new engine, get Deano his Mojo back and maybe catch a few fish.....

Things were slow to start but soon we started filling the big blue tub and Deano was starting to get his Mojo back.

We were later joined by Rob and Phil who had been macky bashing...

A good day had and all the fish caught were a decent stamp...nothing under 4lb...except the macky..

Total for today...
1 Pollock ( Not quite as big as Rob's Record Breaker )
3 Ling..
6 Cod ( Pipped by Deano for the heaviest )

All in all great to be back afloat in my own boat and many plus points..
Fresh cod for tea

Engine is a beauty
Weather great
Phil (Darlin) cod for tea
Rob (Darlin) macky for tea ...You'll get your own back i just know it...

It can be like that Rob, its the same on the beach, side by side someone bags up and others get nowt, same bait etc......

on a boat tho, they reackon its down to technique, some just thrash away and others have style and motion...............just a thought

Just want to say a massive thanks to Chris for getting my mojo back there was a low point where I thought I hit s fish but it turned out to.be a rock but me trusty oranges came good in the end was nice to see a few members from here rob,Phil and Martin the weather was mint the crack was mint the boat was mint the fishing was mint all in all a pretty mint day if Carlsberg did fishing trips then this was it over the moon everything ran smoothly for you mate and you christened it well and truely lol

You might have had the heaviest rock....but i had the heaviest pipe , reeling it up nearly killed me.....think it was a piece of the Ekofisk Line...

Got to admit I am awaiting the Slinky report for what time to head off tomorrow! I had the kids today as the missus is at a spa and relaxation day/night with her mates, not much relaxation for me looking after four kids! It's easier at work! Missed a belter of a day afloat by the sounds and looks of all the reports!
