fished my tynemouth club match in the collywell area last night



as soon as baits were in the water i was getting bites, big bites as well, got one hung up on my first chuck then second cast i got this one, 2lb 9oz when i got it in but it was 2lb 7oz by the time i got to the weigh in, first time ive weighed in this season, ive really struggled.



still getting bites every cast and had a couple more hung up, easily should have had a double figure bag but i just couldnt get them in.

managed to get 2nd heaviest bag and heaviest fish so not bad for my first weigh in of the season.

hopefully i'll hit some form now

Well done m8 nice little session there , kelp and ledges have a lot to answer for , if it was easy bud it would be sh!t, the ones you loose kept you going back .

i was using rotten bottoms but they didnt seem to help on this mark

if thats the crag yous were on, have a look at the crack that seems to be getting bigger after every heavy sea. just a heads up

Aye its a shame all the bites you mention didn't result in some decent fish, but well done on the decent cod you landed.

yeah i know its about to go mate, hopefully it'll last a bit longer
