Conger ???

This coming season im after catching a conger. is there a mark within half an hour to an hours travelling from Newcastle that would give me a good chance.
Dont mind travelling further but the session would have to be longer

You could give Craster a go as they get caught up there.

I caught one at St abbs couple of year ago on a mark where i was not expecting it,south of the harbour,just short of 17lb.

No mark i was pipped by about 2 oz , but yeah i got a little strap conger of shields pier near the blocks a few year back, was about 2 and a half lbs and i got it on rag tipped off with mackerel.
