Conkers or bonkers!!!

hi all!!
was going to pick me little up from school yesterday
and found a conker tree
i was like a 7yr old again fumbling about the floor picking them up!
brung some back home too haha!
has anyone else on here had the same experience or summit
similar??

Aye i had a walk down the dene the other day and i still look for conkers and i'm over 50 years old :red:.....never found any like......its been a bad year....last year i had loads....

you never quite grow out of it do you!!
only got a hanfull but looked as though that was it
as there were only the husks i had peeled on the ground
and no more on the tree
