Conoflex Nemesis Premier

Hi Folks. I was thinking of getting a Conoflex Nemesis Premier and was wondering if any of you guys are using one and what you think of it? I fish the rough ground on the NE of scotland. Its either this rod or I also had a look at the zziplex max f1. Any thoughts?

Brilliant rod for getting fish out the kelp! had mine for 4 years now and i give it some stick,no signs of it starting to soften.

hi stinger.sorry for the late reply,not sure how i missed this one..i also use a nem ,premier fishing the n/e scottish coast line ,this rod will do all that you want it to,once you get used to the stiffish casting style ,youl not look back..cheers pete

Thanks for the replies. Well I bought the rod a few weeks ago and I\'m very pleased with it so far. Not had many cod this season however Hows your season been tartanpete?

hi stinger,did ok up to christmas,then conditions have been pash had better luck up aberdeen this year few decent ones off the harbourat arbroath,but lack of easterlies is dooin my heed in mate...where you from,mate where d,ya fish??

I\'m from Aberdeen and fish the bit of coast between Nigg and Cove. Had very few fish this year but like you say I rekon its to do with the lack of easterlies. My mate had one of cod of 7lb this year and all the rest have been below 3 pound, not good. Last year we had a stack of fish the biggest being a kick in the arse off 10lb but it was wild conditions most nights we were out. I fish mostly at downies farm and its a clean ground mark so the sea really needs to be firing to get any good fish in there. Whats been your best cod this season?

hi mate,never fished as far up as cove,been to newtonhill loads of times though,have caught 4,s..5,s..this year so far nothin spectacular,have you ever fished findon ? i quite fancie a sesion up there..what about you mate???cheers pete
