Conversion bar

Hi all, As I have taken the level wind of my Abu 6500 I am in need of a conversion bar to go into it's place, if anyone has one of these or knows where I can get one can you please get in touch with me.

Ps. I would also like the caps or the new screw inserts for when you cut out the top bar.

you can get the brass studs that replace the bar when you cut it out,and the ct bar for about £18 i usually do my own.

Yes but my reel is a custom job and has a thumb bar release
on the cage and that is why i need the kit.

i have a few of them fun aint they nice to be able to hold down the trigger (or what ever they call it ) so it does not knock back into gear mid cast

this is the best reel i have and it also has a 6.6:1 ratio
so is faster than my penn.

I've got a one you can have , it's from pmr . I got it but didn't use it .
It has the plastic caps to glue over the sawn off ends and you keep the level wind bar in , just remove the worm and put this bolt in place .
It's got a photographic step by step sheet as well , your welcome to it mate for a bag of bait

got the same kit mate! spot on it is does the job!!

Me too Had it on a week and happy with it so far :thumbup:

for the sake of £3 for the kit! absolutey great!! been used by tournament
casters and does not move one bit got told that off the lad incharge of PMR
i like PMR because he sells all the expensive gear but also sells the budget
stuff that does the same job and he admits it himself
smashing lad mind
