park mnext to the copthorne hotel or park in the copthorne for only 2quid
i used rag,lug,mussel and black a friend of mine was using crab cart

caught the cod on lug mate

You can fish anywhere from infront of the copthorne all the way up to the BA

on the left of the metro bridge theres a wall then trees just infront of the trees massive gulley just over half way

or even all the way back doon past the swingbridge and the law courts and so on lol, big stretch of river that old tyne monster , i have always found that a good little mark is walk down past the copthorne towards the swingbridge, watch the handrail and as it comes to a corner, try fishing there, only a 20 - 30 yard lob will do
