Me and my mate Blackrat just sorted couple of days fishing around the Aberdeen area. Looking forwards as Cod hotspot. Just need to sort baits and sinkers now.

You should have a mint time up there mate, we go to Arbroath every year and get some good cod. The fishings great but like anywhere else its on the day! Ps all we use up there is crab and mussel cocktails, does the job!

Who mentioned Aberdeen lol. We booked in for few nights at Dundee with intention of travelling up to abroath/USAN, daily with USAN my favourite mark.

stonehaven worth a look mate if on way to Aberdeen its
about 20 mins south of Aberdeen big mussel bed in front of beach
lots of rocks to fish off, the beach, and a harbour .u can dig worms at Montrose in the basin .wich is also on way to Aberdeen all sign posted .
been up here working for a while now

if pushed mick just go to local supermarket for mackeral.happened to me couple of years ago,all the locals were using.seen fish up to 17lb.arbroath,behind the closed down nightclub,its a high water mark,just like fishing the walkway,only you PARK your car right on the spot your fishing.a little heads up,if possible buy your mackeral at night its usually reduced,unless you take your own.
