Been on holiday for a week and today was the first chance i have had to get out so had a mini 2 hour session at Cambios.

I set up 2 rods with 2 hook flapper rigs and crab, bluey, rag and lug for bait

It was a very hot day but a bit breezy at the coast and the fishing soon picked up with a double shot on 1 hook coming from the rod i had further out

almost straight after that i had a double on the rod i had 10-15 yards out

Well done. I fish that mark often but find it a bugger to get it over them rocks at times and end up losing tackle.

I rarely catch anything from there neither but always thought it looks a decent spot. Only a couple of codling an odd bass and a few flatties in the dozen or so times I have fished it.

Took the family there for the first time about a year ago. The tide was coming in and we had pitched a small tent on the beach. There was me standing in the water with my shorts on having a few casts while the wife and kids were panicking because the water started to cut them off from the ramp. Had to wade back quick pick the tent up and get everyone back to the ramp sharpish. No real danger but I got it in the ear from the wife. How was I to know the whole beach is covered at high tide :D

Anyway got back to car much earlier than expected to find a group of kids breaking into it.

Never been back.

You say no real danger but there is a plack on one of the rocks on the ramp of a lad who got washed off during a big sea and didnt get back out. Im shocked about your car mate. Makes me think twice about fishing where the pipe used to be now. Mind you I never catch anything there now anyway ince the pipe has gone.
