Couple out tonight.

Had a run up to newbiggin around 4pm this afternoon hoping for a few fish. Was pretty quiet at first with only a few rockling first couple or casts. I managed one codling about 2 1/2lb at 6 o'clock. It went pretty quiet again, until I landed a nice bass pushing 2lb. First bass for me so I was pretty pleased. Could have been a few more codling though.

Left at about 9 o'clock. Both fish were taken on blacks and blow lug.

Cheers lads. Was hard going, didn't see any other fish. Could see a load of lights on lynemouth too but there hasn't been many reports.
