crab pots/lobster pots

anyone been getting any lobsters ? edible crabs recently .....been avin plenty green craps and one velvet but no edibles or lobster so far ?

had 8 pots from the last couple of years, so decided to reknew my licence, discs come, i go to the shed and my traps are gone, along with other stuff, someones broken in and helped them selves. not just to my pots but a couple of rods and a shakespear box with odds and ends in.Only problem is i dont have a clue when as i aint been in the shed since christmas

were u get the licenses from ? say for a little pot while fishing ?

u can get the form from the north eastern sea fisheries comittee....its free of charge . u can download the form online and post it in. u get the tags sent back in a week i will get alink and post it

THere are some nasty people out there, I really hope one of the scummy little gits gets a hook stuck in a rather delicate place and it goes septic!

If you want Lobsters,take the legs and nippers off and crack the backs on some of the shore crabs and put them in your pot.They are a Lobsters favourite food.
Don,t do this with Edibles or Velvets though as its illegal.

where I ,ve been diving I have seen loads of lobsters and some quite big too. I don't eat them so they are safe from me. havent seen many edible crabs

i have cracked the green crabs back before but never removed nippers or legs....thanks for the tips i`ll give it a go tomorrow thanks
