crab stick rap

hi as any of you tryed this i tryed this first time about 3years ago and cort some good size cod and whiteing on it wat you do is cut a lenth of squid say 2inch wide and 4 inch long depending on the hook size thred the squid on the hook then cut the same lenth of crab stick and rap it in the squid then use your bait elastic i only tryed this as i could not get any fresh bait at the time and squid and crab stick are cheap and plentiful give it a go

honestly m8 i think they probs of gone for the squid if out and not known the crabstick was inside ya see cod will eat anything if its digestable oh and whiting will eat thereselfs

hi codseeker you not fishing tonight you my be right about the squid but the sticks give a good cent off if you leve it sticking out at the top and bottom next time you on roker give it a go all the best

my friend caught a wrasse on a crab stik at west bay just put it on for a laugh but it worked then he ate the rest of them

there was 3 bowls of crabsticks still clingfilemed at the pub last neet ....thought to myself ..just maybe and then said nay ....crab sticks are made from fish ....but damn ....hindsight is a terrible .....

ive never tried crab stick mate,ive found when im using squid,ive had more success with a whole squid(calimari)fished on its own.

eat the crabsticks then fish with the squid

lets hope it works jus in case we cant get any crab this winter
