Cracking Birds Nest!

depending on the birds nest unpicking it then continue using could result in a weak spot in the line ...would normally just swap reels. unless nothing else to swap then try and and unpick and hope for the best...

yes, if the nest stopped the cast whereever the loop caught is a weakness. I noticed this, there could also be multiple weaknesses. And nice one man, quick question? How did this happen? haha? ive had some bad ones but gosh, thats a beauty :)

I usualy get them like like that :(when I have an audience stop and watch me cast out :D
Never mind it will fill your spare time in trying to sort it out LOL

Cheers Lads!! In the End, this one was a scissor job!!! I normally give them about 5 minutes and then break out the scissors!! Actually I got this one fishing right next to the bloke who had just caught that 13lb one recently up at beadnel! It was my last chuck of the day and even if it hadn't been I would have sacked it off!!! The tide was rising so I decided to go for a bit more range; so I loooooooosened the breaks right off and let fly, slipped, thumb came off the spool and a very loud zzzzzzzzzzzzz was followed by a crack off, the lead went out to sea and I ended up with that mess!!!!

this is a much larger nest :D:D:D:D
