Back to real north east boat fishing, 20ft ne rollers smashing into the boat...To be fair i really think we should have just called it a day before we left the pier but we never and we did catch fish.
We drifted around the rough ground picking up haddock,codling,ling,pouting,coalie and mackerel for the 3hrs
we made it out for, nothing that big but good fun on a 6-10lb class rod.
I was pleased we called it a day after 3hrs out as it was getting wild, i am no stranger to boat fishing after 11 years but days like that make you feel, is a fish worth dieing for.
The best part of the day was seeling this seal pop up next to the boat and the look on its face said it all..."what the hell you lot doing out here you made b*****ds"
