A m8 was asking me if I knew of any good marks around the Craster area, but not having fished up there myself, I didn\'t have a clue.

Can anybody give any suggestions, please??

Thanks for asking the question Tony. If anyone could even give any hints of good areas without specific marks it would help.

I\'m on holiday there for a week starting from Thursday, and it would be good to know whats being caught along the shore before I get there.

Hope you get sorted, Nick......and enjoy your holiday in the South.....lol.

Although it says that Nick is a \"newbie\"......he\'s hardly THAT.

It was Nicks\' photo uploader we used on the previous incarnation of the NESA site..........Good to have you with us again :D

Nick, most of the kelpy marks in Northumberland will give you a chance of red cod to crab baits.[Marden rocks, Longhougtonsteel, Sugar sands area,Cullernose point,Craster,Dunstanburgh,Newton and Beadnell.
You can get a little bit more of an idea if you go to multimap.com, click on the area and keep clicking on the map till you\'re looking at a map of the area thats similar to Landranger seris, then click on the camera icon this brings up goodish aerial photos of the rocks n kelp. The shots of Sugar sands/howdimans and south are canny.
The only other thing to mention is that these marks are dangerous and can spring surprises at any time so best not go alone,
Let me know what days you\'re intending on fishing and if I\'m off work ,I\'ll show some places i know......cec.
