i was fishing s/shields yesterday and someone had said he caught and lost a big conger at craster

It was probably Weefus, he lost a big one at Craster not long ago.

I was told 20lb, phoned a lad who has photo on his phone had to leave message, he was going to phone me but nothing yet.

fished weighed 20lb 5oz and he was beaten into second place by a bag of 34lb 12oz.

Used my connections Lad from Shilbottle caught it almost same place as 1 last year and he was pipped to post by another lad from Shilbottle with 14 fish!!! Both fishing Alnwick club match. Just what i heard like so might be slightly wrong. There were loads of fish weighed in in their match so some very good fishing indeed

There was plenty of fish caught the back end of last week when the sea was away. Hope they stay around and get bigger!

come back from a weekend away and no reports, by dinner time today starting to panic, nouwt to write about, then wallop, fish allover the place, just finished article for Fridays Journal, normally goes in at tea time, but while waiting for photos kept getting more good resports and had to keep changing copy. Going to bed now.
