Went to Craster yesturday morning, got there for around 07:45 started to fish off the pier untill the tide went out. My cousin caught a Rockling after about 10 mins!( thought it was going to be a good day!) we then moved out onto the rocks off the right hand side of the pier stayed there for around 2-3 hours whilst its blowing a gale and raining by now!!....lol

got sick and thought we would try somewhere else and so we moved south to Howick found a nice spot which offered a little bit of protection from the elements but no fish. So we decided to move back to craster on the pier and i caught a small rockling and a cod of around 1.5 - 2 lb. Not a great days fishing!
one good point is that i had just bought a flotation suit and it worked a treat! warm all day and bone dry when i took it off 12 hours later!!

If you fish from the rocks to the right you cast into quite shallow water if I recall....

we were on the rocks to the right but casting out north towards the other set of rocks......was told by a local that there is a large deep part around about half way to the rocks but no luck!!would be lovely there on a nice day!!
ive had more luck off the pier!!..lol
