craster last night

fished from low water till high on the south side of the harbour last night. sea conditions spot on. managed a coalie of a half a pound quite late on, brother in law blanked (he was desperate for something on his new rod and reel). only had a couple of tentative taps all night there was couple of lads on the north side of the harbour and we didn't see them pull ought in either. one of the guys mentioned that there'd been a good few fish from there of late, but i suppose you have to pick the right tide think thats it for me, fly gear will be coming out in the next couple of weeks, then i'll be waiting for some warmer weather when the float/spinnig gear will be out for the pollack from the rock marks 'oop north

were u fishing the rocks near cullernose mate? just i was thinking of fishing craster 2moro nyt but if there's not much getting caught i mite b wasteing my time going up.

just fished off the harbour wall jonny, for ease, south side, as there's a bit shelter.

was the sea nice and calm? craster is one of the places you can fish all year if it is with good results, iv'e had some nice warm summer evernings off the rocks.

i have had better sucsess fishing the ebb dont seem to get alot on the flood
