Craster trip 1/4/08

Well had a small works trip up Craster today in a H.F only comp.

Not the best conditions with a choppy but not rough sea and a good 30mph wind pushing us along at about 2.8k.

Only real luck we had was when the wind (west) and the tide went against each other slowing the drift.

I would say about 85 fish caught between 9 anglers

I won with a cod of 6lb 4oz

Most fish caught, codling around 3lb, coalie and scotties but we did see at least 2 wrasse upto 2lb, a couple of whiting and a small 1lb ling.

My catch was 6 codling, 2 coalie and 3 scotties.
