Alreet peoples, havin a little trip up to Craster today coz ive got bait left to use up, probs be trying the point to the south ov Craster is it Cullernose point???? Anyway ill be the one with girlfriend and 2 kids in tow and a barbie to cook my maccy with with any luck. Has there been much doing up there? Laters!

Alreet lads, had a canny day got there at 1pm, the FPO insisted on taking 2 deckchairs and 3 bags of food and drink!! There was only the 4 ov us!!! So i parked at the playground and made them carry them the long way(apparently its quicker to park on the road behind the bay to the right ov the point). Set up a rod with rag and fresh crab and tried a bit spinning on the end ov the point, 2nd cast got some good knocks but then nowt, a couple of lads were there before me and said they had a couple of small coalies. Had nowt on the spinners. Then tried into the bay and same there. Didnt catch owt but it was good weather and it was nice to get away from the overcrowded piers and beaches for a few hours. The FPO managed to cook somthing on the barbie withowt givin me food poisoning aswell!!!! Things could be looking up!!!

Don\'t worry Jamie, there\'s lots of people come back from Craster with nowt. It\'s one of them places that spits out the odd few fish but either you have a good day or get nothing. Glad you had a good day out either way
