posted on 18/1/2004 at 01:12Was going to fish low tide but didn't get sorted in time. Had a couple of chucks at Private Beach, Cresswell but too heavy.
Went to Blyth pier from abou 9.15pm. 2 Codling one whiting. Plenty of whiting bites but perservered with larger hooks. Codling 3lb3oz and1lb21/2oz on plain lug.
There were a few decent fish on the pier but not loads. Saw a few 3-5lb and heard that someone lost one off the end about 12lb.
