We started off at Cresswell(private beach) at about 6.30ish,sea was flat as a knacker and it was bloody freezing!!Anyway after setting up and our first hoy we both got snagged resulting in loosing our gear.Moved 20 yards down the beach but exactly the same again.No matter where we moved on the beach it was the same all over.Decided to pack in after loosing 10 sets of gear between us.So does anyone know if there are any pots or nets out there which are close in???
We moved up to Lynemouth but only had a couple of small bites all night with only one rockling caught between us.spoke to a couple of lads who were coming off and they had nowt either.So all in all in was a pretty crap night loosing a bit of gear,loosing the line on 2 reels and nee fish!!
Best part of the night was pulling up at High Pit pizza shop 12.10am for a pizza!!!
