Crew needed Hartlepool 3/8/05

Have got Wednesday off work. Weather looks like it might be fishable, but none of my regular crew can get the day off. If anyone\'s free, and the weather is favourable, I can offer a trip out on Seapride (nice boat, crap skipper) in exchange for a bit of rope handling in the marina & through the lock. Tide\'s a bit awkward, need to get out either befor 8:15 or after 11.
Any takers?

(know how to handle ropes, wash down and rig and bait up for the skipper).

All the weather sites i have seen say wed is the best day, the sea was dropping off all the time today, going down the pier tomora so will get a good view of the sea.

The sea was flat as flat today, cant see you having any problems in getting out on the boat Wed.

Got out about 8, had to pack up about 12 due to freshening wind - quite a lumpy ride back.

Loads of mackerel (smoking away nicely as I write), some whiting, and a solitary cod (caught by Jason, who had forgotten to bring the distractor).

Good day out, good crack, nice to actually meet another of the NESA boys in the flesh! Will definitely let you know when I have spare space in the future, Jason.

Fingers crossed for the weekend weather...

Similar story out of the Tyne on The Boys this morning, only managed 3 codlings, a few scotchies, whiting & coalie.

Oh, and 8 mackeral, 8 Stone that is!!
