Paid 85p for a 3oz gripper in Ashington last week!

Paid 75p for some 2oz bombs last summer in local tackle shop. Never again I hope!

Aye, they buy them off local lads, and then put their mark up on top of that, so that hikes the price up....they have to make a profit i suppose..
Just goes to show how much you can save by making your own, but i still get mine off Dustybin....

100 -150% a bit hefty mind. I get all my boat leads off Dusty(plus a few freebies from.............well maybe shouldn't say in case he gets swamped with requests!). Was supposed to get 2 oz leads off Dusty when I was down, but boat trip cancelled so didn't make it. Probably have to buy a few for the shore locally unfortunately!
