fished today with grant and james 1st cast james pulls one out 2lb4ozs 1st cast for me 4lb8ozs james gets another about a 1lb 2ozs then he had another 2 on but came off [bugger] grant went roving and the wind blew his rod over bust 4 rings another rod for me to rebuild but he still managed to fish on but with no luck,so out came the hand line to save a blank and he caught a rockling nothing on the flood.

oh thanks mate i have fished there before in that gulley to the left we lost loads of gear

welldone on ur catch just shows thier is some still thier some of my mates where over the hartley skeer and i think 1 of them got a small codling out and loads of bites we missed loads of bites on sunday same happened to me at craster last year dropped my hook size down from 6/0 to 3/0 and caught a dogfish aswell i think these maybe the culprits for our missed bites more and more seem to be showing off our shores.

We were getting two or three big knocks then nothing for 5 min then same again and again and again so I waited and went for the strike and got the little ******* lol I'm thinking of fishing it again all day tomorrow I have a pic so I will stick it on
