cullercoats last nite

fished cullercoats last nite with paul galon, got down about 9ish and had a few chucks off the pier while the tide was droppin but it was quiet. we got on the rocks about 11.30 and paul got a small coalie, on his next cast he got a stormin bite and struck into what looked a good fish. he got it going but got stuck on the ledge and it came a drift.
ah got a good bite after that and got what seemed a reasonable fish going but the same thing happened. ah got 1 out about 2lb next chuck then ah had to go, would liked to of stayed coz the fish were comin on the feed but that's life lol.
left paul to it and no doubt he would of ended up with a few fish and hopefully a decent 1 amongst them.

Well done mate, at least you didn,t blank. I was going to fish Tynemouth Beach but went to pictures instead (Avatar). Will probably try Tynemouth friday.

looks like the sea has dropped off a bit, 2 nite and 2morro should give up sumthing.
am out 2nite 2 use the rest of me bait up will let u's know how ah get on, even if ah get nothin it's better than being sat in the house lol

aye tonight is the night for beaches etc i reckon, fished blyth pier 9 - 1pm toady got nowt of any size, but the sea looks perfect for any marks where you can hold bottom tonight
